It Comes in Waves

I know you feel a little lost right now, as if you are stranded at low tide with no land or water in sight. But have faith; it will come back. Like a bird knows which way north is, you too have a sense of being right where you need to be – you intrinsically know the water will return. Relax, go slow, and take it easy, man. Your education in the forest is not quite yet concluded. Patience is both a virtue and not something easily acquired. Be grateful for where you are, when you are, and who you are in this very moment. The future will never arrive and the past is already gone. You know what to do. You have learnt how to listen to the wind and feel the softest current in the river. Even the apparent absence of these is a teacher. Be not afraid. Trust yourself. Dare to dream. The Tide will return.
